You can join MDP by dialing *509# on your mobile phone and following the prompts. You will be asked to provide your ID number and personal details for registration. Once confirmed, you’ll officially become a member.
Yes. The system will guide you through deregistration from your current political party (if applicable) before allowing you to complete your registration with MDP.
No. Membership to MDP is free of charge. However, members are encouraged to participate in volunteer programs and party initiatives.
MDP is organized at national, county, constituency, ward, and grassroots levels. At the national level, the party is led by the Party Leader, Chairman, Secretary-General, Treasurer, and other officials who ensure effective leadership and accountability.
The MDP leadership includes our Party Leader Alfred Anekeya Mang’ula, Chairman Ponyochi Kunyobo, Organizing Secretary Ashford Munguku, and National Treasurer Repher Night Muganda. Each leader plays a vital role in guiding the party towards its vision of inclusivity and progress.
